I looking into purchasing a push bar /brush guard but am having trouble finding them. Once I find one that I like, I see that it is only made for Chey, Ford, etc...
Anyone recommend a site/brand/etc...
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

DO YOU HAVE A PIC OF YOUR BRUSH GUARD? HOW MUCH ARE YOU ASKING FOR IT?

I put a brush guard on my wifes 2000 LS, and while it looks nice and all, it tends to wiggle back and forth a bit. Not that the whole thing is loose or anything, but I guess it flexes a bit. Also, it sticks off the truck by about 4", especially right at the bottom of your front bumper, effectively taking that much distance away from the approach to steep climbs and descents. If you can wait and have the money and are more concerned with functionality versus looks, I would recommend the ARB bumper. I'll probably go for one when funds look a little better. I think you can mount a winch to it also. Bonus!! But if you want just a brush guard, try 4-Wheel Parts. That's where I got my wifes.

That's what the one on my wifes 2000 looks like. Had any wiggling with yours? On my wifes truck it's a side to side shimmy that simply annoys the hell out of me!

Yes mine does wiggle a bit but really only notice it on rougher roads and if its really windy. As far as I can tell its not really hurting anything, but it does dance gib

My suggestion for fog lights are the PIAA 520's. Great light output and it really helps when it's foggy on the road.

The older style ARB can be put on a newer MS. Someone has done it. This is a copy of what they wrote. So you want to put an ARB on a 2K do ya??? Well be WARNED, this is not going to be easy or simple but well worth the time and effort. First the ARB for a 99 WILL fit, the brackets line up w/ everything they are supposed to line up with. Now comes the painfull part. Out comes the SAWSAW and cut out anything and everthing that held the old bumper in place, these brackes are welded to the frame and rivited... No going back now, so rip off the windsheild washer tank and disconnect all it wireing and hose, save for later use? Next it's back to the SAWSAW to cut in to your grill & lights. You will find that the bumper will not seat it's self back far enough to line up w/ any of the holes in the brackets, by trimming the lights you can get it back far enough to make it look nice and tucked under your lights. Also i would just leave off the crome or black accent that "DIP'S" down in the middle no way to get it past the uprights on the ARB once it's pushed back and up. Allmost done. Now comes the fun, fire up the welder cause your going to need to run some nice weld on the inside of the bumper connecting it to the brackets unless you want to "try" to drill new holes on the inside of the bumper w/ a hand drill? At this point you can set the bumper on the brackets and line things up before you weld, i used some BIG bolts as spacers between the bumper an the front flairs to give myself equal space on each side. Once welded, hit up the welds w/ some paint and reindex the trosion bars cause this baby is going to sag. All and all i think it's worth it but you be the judge check it out... community.webshots.com/user/elliotts3v3nGOOD LUCK
