I'm rather new at the whole off-road driving, therefore limited in both experience and knowledge. I haven't done anything serious thus far, just a little trail riding mostly. I was wondering, if you guys- the experts could enlighten an apprentice on some simple techniques that would help out. Like- for instance- I'm driving up a really steep sandy hill- do I put in 4-lo? I'm going down the same hill- the same 4-lo? I'm driving through a mud puddle- floor it to push my way out- or steady as she goes? I only have two wheels touching the ground- gun it or tap it? etc, etc. Thanks

1) use 4hi & lots of power for sand. leave 10lbs of air in your tires. 2) same with mud as in sand
