A high lift jack is kind of mandantory stuff if you read about going into the wilderness. But how do you use it without an fancy ARB-bumper (which can't be found for a -02) ? Can it be mounted somewhere ?
Or is it just a portable winch with the high lift jack winch kit ?

You either have to have some rock sliders that you can lift jack off of or I have seen a new thing from lift jack that you can attach to the rim and lift your 4x4 with your lift Jack. www.4by4connection.com/hiliftliftmate.htmlSteve A high lift jack is kind of mandantory stuff if you read about going into the wilderness. Thanks for the answer !
Since I only have the stock "side steps" for now, the only way would be the "mate" way.
I'm also looking into the exhaust powered ballon jack, but then you need your engine running or a pump. I guess it wont be ale to lift as high as the "hi lift jack", but better on a loose surface.
