The shackles only work for the rear leaf sprung suspensions of the 97-99 Montero Sports. 2K and newer went with a rear coils spring suspension.

www.rocky-road.comThey sell Old Man Emu shocks and springs. Crank the torsion bars up front for 2" of lift in the front and the OME springs will give you 2" of lift in the rear. Go with the heavy duty springs and shocks. You can run a skinny 33" tire or a wide 32" tire with this lift. A 34" tire will fit with either trimming of your fenders a bit or different rims. If you are open diff in the front and rear you won't show those jeepers up. Moab from what I've seen favors those who can keep all 4 wheels on the ground as it has a lot of traction and many of the trails are easy if you have lockers or limited slips front and rear.

Good set of 31" or 32" tires and the Old Man Emu lift would be perfect!
the ride and handling is also better than stock.
