Hey guys, I notice that some of you have lights mounted on your roof racks. How do you supply power to them? Does it require drilling or is there a simple and discrete way to put up roof lights that doesn't inlove a lot of money and potential leaks or damage to my vehicle?
Thanks for your input!

oh yeah, I put my lights on the rack and ran the wires: to the left, down the rail to the back, down the rear door on the outside of the weather stripping, to the bottom corner up and over the stripping (from the bottom, this should be just fine since it wont leak), under the screwed in "door step" thing, under the carpet, along the side to the front of the car and to the engine bay. wow, I said alot. If this helps you but you would like a picture, i can go take some. If you think I am just a nut, you are probably right.

I ran my wiring from the battery, through the firewall, to the switches (1/front, 1/rear), then down the left side interior under the plastic door guards up the driver side passenger door and out the door over the weather stripping. This worked for about 8 months - even with rain. Then one day the seal gave and it rained in the car. So I cut the wires and added a quick connect (the car side is left right up under the driver side passenger's oh sh*t handle). This works pretty good and I can remove the rack whenever I want - such as now with gas prices as they are.
I only ever used the lights off road. So having the lights not hooked up 24/7 isn't a big deal for me. If you wire them permanent definitely run them to the outside from the bottom of the door to avoid potential leaks.
