Does anyone know or have 22" rims on their Montero Sport? I was wondering if 22's even fit on an MS. If so is the ride really bad and can you turn without rubbing or is the ride alright and safe for the MS. Thanks any advice would be highly appreciated.

You can definatley fit duece 2's on a Sport.......I had them on mine, but I had a problem with rubbing, so I went to a 20 inch rim with 275/45/20. The guy that sold me them said he even has heard of people having problems with a 20 inch rim with a 285/50/20 on it. Hope that helps a little bit.

ok...20's do rub with 285-50-20, but only at full rotation in a u-turn at even slow speeds...nothin bad though...just a slight stick...almost unnoticable. but dob't get mee wrong...285-50-20's are the way to go...anything less will screw yur ride quality... real "for jay...rims" in street modding...you may have to do a bet of work...

Sup all! I just put the dubs on my ride along with a few new mods! But i went with a smaller side wall tire. I have always been a fan of low pros. So im running a 35 not a 55. it looks a lil high now but in a week or two it wont check it out the pics are kinda bad but ill get some good ones soon! members.cardomain.com/lordoz Lata

Thanks bro! I didnt have to do anything to make em fit! i know u guys have said that your wheels rub with some of the larger tires if u watch the backspacing of the wheels u shouldnt have a problem. I dont know if alot of these wheels are able to come in different backspacings but most billet wheels do! im a minitrucker so we pay attention to that so the wheels will tuck but u can also make em stick out a bit to run bigger wheels. Dont know if that helps anyone but it might. Lata
