Ok guys i did a lil more investigating and have found the way to over come my swing arm problem. I will have to shorten the rear swing arm! It aint that bad im just going to cut off what i dont need sleave the arm and reweld on the end, then move the mount forward. It aint bad if u know what u are doing and it will take some time. the font is easy as well it just calls for a complete rewerk of the front suspension. The torsions come out and the shock comes out then u fab in some new mounts for the spring where the stock shock sits. then using a shock relocater remount the shock. After all this i should gain like 6 inchs of drop! I will be able to sit it on my wheels and totally loose the gap. So i may have to sell these wheels and get some that will tuck now! LOL! Anyway i have done some more reserch and i do believe doinf this will make mine the lowest sport on the planet, i know of one other that is bagged, it was featured in a Auto sound and security a year ago and it didnt lay out as much. I have to dig up that issue again. So this will happen i just need to find the time now! Lata

Ya gotta lay frame man!!!! ;D I used to love draggin' the frame of my 88 toyota over speed bumps and pop cans. I once pushed (unknowingly) a 'Dew can for 6 miles with my lower front valance. Just didnt feel like airing up. I know that a bagged MS will be smooth. How about the handles and stuff? Frenched antenea? Caddy taillights? I am talking to one of the Japaneese engineers I work with about Pajero body kits. He thinks he can set me up.

Yeah id love to lay this thing out but it is a lil complicated. I wll get ti eventuly but right now ill seatle for filling the wheel well, lol! As for shaving it out i was so close to finishing it off the other day, im just not ready to loose the handles yet! I know it would be tight! But i need to leave something for down the road. So far the rear is shaved out and roof rack is gone along with the antenna. It claeaned up alot! and right now im so thinking about loosing the key holes i really hate em, but dont know if i really want to get into painting the whole drivers door now. Put i think the mirrors are next those things are huge and i have to do something! What happend to your 88? There aint anything that will make me paer with my 87 or 92 toys! Lata

I got married It was a 88 toyota with 95 4runner front end (bumper and valance, lights, grille). I had 88 4X4 fenders to make the front wider. All shaved down the sides. slammed to the pavement. Clear corner lights front and rear. Fiberglas toneau. Pass through bed with 4 Alpine VR 12s , SoundStream Ref700 and Ref405, Boston Acoustics 6-4-tweet in a custom built dash/door panels. And it was all painted 97 Supra dark blue. I miss it ..... I want to do another one some day... Oh, and I had a set of 17x7 stock Chrysler Sebring rims that were on 205-40-17 toyo tires. They tucked so far I rubbed turning everywhere!

Nice lookin rides! I am not really into convertibles, but the truck looks smooth. Yeah, a body dropped 4x4 will look cool. Had you considered maybe sectioning or channeling it? That may be really damn hard considering all of the bracing and re-enforcing that you would have to do. New cars are great for what they are stock, but when you start taking away the factory metal, they seem to get flimsy. Keep up the great work man!
