I just got my intake on my truck yesterday. I know injen makes on fo rit but sence im a cheep *** i made mine. It turned out real well and im really happy with it. So i thought i would mention it to u guys and pass along the idea. What i did was emailed injen and bought the part that addapts the filter to the mass airflow senser. It is a small part and could be made but it is a pain in the *** to weld something like that so i opted to buy it. The part cost me 20 bucks I got a filter at the local parts store for another 2 bucks, but the filter opening is 3.5" And the one on the addapter is 4.5" so i ran to the local home depot and found a ruber addapter that werked to convert it. Was a lil concerned about how it would look, with it being a show truck but it looks tight. And the thing growls now so im very happy! Hope to have a pic soon Lata

Sir,
When you're ready to change the filter, think about investing on a K&N filter. You can go to their website and order one that will directly bolt onto your MAS adapter. You can pick and choose the cone filter since they have an array of choices. I myself ordered two (1 for MS and 1 for eclipse). The website even shows you how and what part of the filter to measure so you can order the exact filter you want. The topper is that the filter is reusable. For less than $15, you can also order the filter charger. It comes in two spray bottles, one is the cleaning solution and the other bottle is the oil that you wil need to reapply on the filter to trap small dirt particles.
