I need my front left signal light changed on my 2000 Montero Sport. That is the only light on the truck that requires a PHD or a trip to the dealer along with a $50 charge. Anyone changed this light themselves? Need help please!!!!

That is the simplest thing ever. I've broken about 3 of them offroading, all you need is a screw driver. You remove the screw, and then it slides right out. There is a little tab you push in to unhook the wires from the back of the light and then you plug in the new light and then you slide the light back in and screw it in. And wallah....fixed light.

Sorry Numidian, but the 2000 and 1998 Montero Sport requires different procedures to access the front turn signal lamps. The 2000 Montero Sport turnsignal lamps can be accessed through the front wheel fender well... not too difficult, but there may be a few items that need to be removed to get to it (don't remember).
