I was wondering where would be the best spot to put a ground cable for an after market amp in the back area.

I put mine on the bottom of that metal hook that holds down the back seats when you close them (The black/gray metal tab thing) I just unloosened the bolt, scratched away all the paint under it and connected it to there, works good and is in a good location.

You can use one of the seat bolts. They go direct to the vehicle chasis, all you need do is strip away all dirt/paint and connect it:)

seat belts worked best for me 2. but if you are doing amp racks towards the back, do a continuity test with a multimeter.
