Interesting Letter to the Editor in my local paper, The Cambrian: A 1,300-pound black bull escaped the pasture during the night (Jan. 5th) and decided to wander along CA Highway 1 between Cambria and Cayucos. A local, driving his 1998 MS at around 55 mph "hit that poor beast in the butt right between the headlights." (I love that line!!! ;D)
Totalled the bull and the MS with no human injuries; and, "...Since we are firmly convinced that the seat restraint system, and the air bag system, the impact absorbing design and the SUV's truck chassis all contributed to saving our lives, we are now the proud owners of a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport Limited..."
Thought I'd pass it along!
Cheers from ranching country. Stod
