poor chad, he's a beginner, and he was trying to stay out of the ruts, also was coming down that hill a little too fast. one of the ruts caught his front left. this was the first time someone i was with tipped over, i was surprised how easy it was to right the truck, and to start it(15 mins. later). only fluid that got out was p/s, came out of the resevoir.

Dannytuned -- Looks like you had a good time. Great pics. Question: I'm getting ready to put on a 1 1/2 inch body lift. How did you raise your lower front bumper to meet back up with the body. Any help would be very appreciated including what you did with the radiator. -- Jason

He came out far better than a Scout I was with in Feb that rolled.
Although body damage was not severe (them things are built like tanks), lost lots if fluids and pushed the fan into the radiator. Left him with out the ability to cool the engine and was on a trail that getting towed out was not a real option (they considered putting a rig in front to pull and a second behind to help brake, but realized on the trail that was still too risky).
Had to nurse it to the highway with only mild overheating and then trailered it home.

Thanks for the reply. Just did the 1.5" lift today and had no problems. The entire bumper was attached to a cross member on the body front assembly. I did take the bumper fascia off to be sure and to watch all the lines up front as I lifted. Everything came up together with no problems. The fan is not even rubbing on the shroud. Very pleased. Thanks for the reply.

I like the first pic. It looks like a FJ Cruiser. lol. Oh too bad for the 5th pic, the bumper and the skirt were terrible.

I notice that many people take off their skid plates before off-roading. I thought that they were to protect your undercarraige when you're in the rough stuff- maybe it's just me that keep them on.
