i emailed a bunch of overseas mitsubishi dealerships to get price ideas about the spoiler i'm looking to get. a dealership in new zealand responded and told me it would be $2,200.00 in new zealand dollars. when i went to a currancy converter, i almost fell out of my chair. it's a little more than $900.00 american. this simply can not be right, can it? that spoiler better be able to wash my ms for me for that price. i kinda think the parts guy that responded meant $220.00. at least thats what i'm hoping.

You were probably right about the $900. Remember, this is a Factory accessory...and you know dealers don't sell cheap. I doubt it would be $220, since the one I got from Overlander was already $100...and this was an aftermarket accessory. Did the dealer mention if the shipping and handling was included?

it was $920.00 us dollars BEFORE SHIPPING.
I think he was off, because, i believe that the american fullsize montero's factory spoiler doesnt costs that much.
if it is the proper price, i may have to find a place that makes a knock-off of it.

Wouldn't surprise me . I'd bet the FedX, or boat-ride over costs more than the spoiler !!! Probably much better off with the U.S. version (2000 model) or the after-market from someone like Overlander. Also, check UrbanJungle in San Luis Obispo, CA. Keep us posted if you find anything else. Cheers, Stod

tdm, please scan it and post it on somewhere on the site here. it's always funny to see how many accessories we get shafted on by mitsubishi not selling them in the usa.

is that rearwing from jaos? If it is, I think they only have wings for three suv's...the lexus lx470, toyota 4runner, and toyota landcruiser. www.jaosusa.com/products/spoiler/

Found MVS Wings at bestdarnparts.com but ,"no soup for you", they do make it for the Montero Sport.
