Broke my exhaust at the flex pipe on my MR2 Spyder, so I'm driving the Montero Sport for the week while I order an aftermarket downpipe from JNZ Tuning. Decided to give it a quick engine degreasing at the self serve car wash yesterday. Montero Sport MR2 Spyder

Ended up getting t-boned in the Spyder, totaling it. Bought another one and transferred most of the mods over + bought a couple more. Thinking of still keeping the Montero Sport and driving it till it completely dies. It's currently got 130k miles on it but it's sure a lot more reliable than my show/track car. Using it to haul my wheels and tires next week.

I bought my limited used and I do not have the engine cowel or cover. What are those things supposed to do? Nice and clean by the way.

Mostly for appearance on the Montero Sport. On my MR2 Spyder, I have a vented hood so water gets in and the valve cover prevents water from sitting next to the spark plugs.
