The reason why I have always prefered the Mitsubishi Montero Sport is because of its fresh style and originality. I had a 99 Nativa and sold it because it was a gas guzzler. Nevertheless, it was a good car. This new one 2009 is 3.2 DiD, 7 seats, LSD rear, automatic transmission tiptronic, 4wd, good reasons for buying a new one. It is for sale in Panama, and Philipines. Not to be sold in North America yet. You can find this model in Mitsubishi Philipines.

This Montero is somewhat similar to a Nissan Murano..

The Murano is not a real 4x4. Well, you meant the shape... I think the design resembles the Toyota Highlander.

Sweet looking truck. Wish it was coming 'state side. Look forward to seeing off-roading posts. Glad to see they made it considerably better looking than the pickup version. Looks like luxury to me.
