Ok guys, I appreciate the feedback from a previous post, but I didn't get the info I needed, so if maybe someone can help me it would be awesome. Here's the deal...
I have a 99 MS XLS with premium audio. I want to replace the head unit with an affordable aftermarket unit. My question concerns the multi pin or DIN connectors coming from the amp. My knowledge of these things is next to zero, so bear with me. How can I know if the head unit I buy will accept the mitsu DIN wires already in the truck? Are these a standard among manufacturers? While speaking to an idiot at best buy, he told me there were no wiring kits for my car available. I hope that is clear enough and I can get some help. My current stereo picks up no radio, the cassette deck is broken and that was how I did my XM and ipod so it's kind of boring riding in it.
thanks again!

I actually bought a wiring kit from Best buy and it came with the DIN adapter, I don't have the premie audio so if you want, I can send the adapter to you, you just pay for shipping. I have an aftermarket stereo in my tero already and made custom panels and boxes for the cargo area. I'll be posting pics when I'm done. but let me know if you want that DIN adapter, it's just chilling in my glove compartment feeling neglected.
