Sup peeps, geeks, & dorks, I have an 03 LS with a standerd factory radio w/CD player. I have it running through an amp with an after market wiring harness & it works fine. My is, can I also somehow alter it so it could take RCA cables so that I could connect an iPod or XM reciever directly without having to use an FM transmitter. Any tips would be kind peace

i looked and looked and looked. seems the infinity stereo just does not have right stuff. there is a cd changer input on the back so i would think you could jerry rig something, but nothing is available off the shelf. all the mits with that infinity stereo can't get an ipod hook up. i should make one and be rich!

I just got an aftermarket cd player and installed it that had an accessory jack with it. I use it for my ipod cell phone and my xm radio.

I just used a tape converter to get my ipod and xm radio into my system.

As far as I know, this is not possible with the factory HU.
Are you using a line out converter for the amp? I'm wondering due to the factory radios not having any RCA outputs for expansion.

Dont see why people insist on using crappy factory decks...aftermarket decks are cheap nowadays and 10 times better. Just get a new deck...
