Photos the lazy way....link to posts when I first put them on. As far as an update, with almost a years use, the tires are wearing very well. FYI, mine is also daily driver, 85 miles per day comute. drives great as set-up. Has 136K or so miles. I would love to do more to it, sliders, ARB locker etc. My limiting factor is off-roading is a hobby that few in my family enjoy, so my $$ goes into family activities instead (mostly horses.) bigcans o yeah ther 5inch tips and not true dual but a y was made . streight pipe no muffler pretty damn loud and was installed when i was younger and was after the big noise now I wish i went with smaller tips or kept the flowmaster or both lol. the noise is rumble and hums like a sob in the cab. sucks when your sick or have a headack. sounds like a v8 ideling then you here the v6 wine up past mid rpms but it sounds everythang but a stupid import buzzing around. I cant here my intake and i cant creep around and everyone stairs specially dureing crank up and ideling down. and damn it can you beleave this is my off road and hunting truck can you imagin being a deer and hereing me come or maybe you live a 1/2mile away but you can here me screming thru the mud . lol really loud people here me about a good 1/4 mile before i pull up in there yard verying annoying lol but to keep from going off topic please pm any more comments thanks thanks for the thumbs up. I try to keep my 00 monty clean but it has its fare share of scratches and chips from off roading, stupid kids and dogs and rocks from big trucks and bandlizem and keying. I paid this idoit at a body shop 100 to buff it and to find out after picking up he only hand buff and really fuc#ed some area up burnrub/zillions of swirek marks i paid him 50bucks to keep him from calling the law and save a bunch of comotion but all that happen was argueing ......but i should have demanded he pay someone to fix his misteaks. I try to wash her twice a month and shine the tires and put on a coat of wax ever 3months or so . out of my 2002 ranger tremor edition and 2004 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 2wd the montero is my fav and gets the most attention on detailing. althou the jeep is no 1 in seating comfort with my bad bottom and low back area the montero is prob 3rd in comfort when im in real pain but prefer it over the jeep off roading but hey i love how the jeep will spin both tires alot more than the montero its just the jeep is to low and tires to small and to upgrade it to get the same height and tire size would involve hundreds of dollers i dont have. I love my montero it was my first vehical

03 4wd ls sport. no lift, 265/70/16 cooper atr's ( they came with the truck).
soon to be 3 inch lift and some 33"s on eagle alloys. mctweety i agree on the daily driver statement as mine is my only car too, im chasing abit more capability and clearance, im from the west coast of australia and the sports are called challengers over here, there are hundreds of dune systems and the challengers eat them up. a friend of mine has a gq nissan patrol ( not sure what their called in the states) with massive lift and 35's and he was driving up the dunes in 4wd whereas i was cruising round in 2wd with a beer, burger king and a smoke in my hand.

That would fit no problem especially with a 1 inch body lift on top of a suspension lift. Oh and FYI I bought a procomp add-a-leaf for the full-size montero off of summitracing.com for 40.00 shipped and it raises the rear-end up a good 2-1/2-3.00"!!! from the ground to the highest point on my fender flares measures 38"!! And thats with the stock shackles put back on!
