I have a problem with my Kenwood head unit. When I turn the truck on and go from ACC to Ignition, the head unit looses power for a brief second. When that happens it doesn't recognize the Music Keg (10Gb Mp3 player). I called Kenwood and they told me that is a common problem with some vehicles that have the accessory next to the ignition on the switch, (instead of turning CCW to go to ACC) and a fix would be to put a capacitor to the head unit or find a 12V acc. source that does not switch off when I crank the engine. Can anyone tell me which would be better and where I can find a 12V acc. source? Thanks ahead of time for all your input guys and gals.

Splice the yellow (ig sw) wire together with red (B+) wire in your radio's harness and wire them both directly to B+, and you'll not only get rid of that problem, but you'll also be able to listen to your radio with the ignition switch off. Just a thought...
