I've been interested in some basic black steel wheels for a while but I'm having trouble locating some that will for sure fit my '00 MS. Flatlander has the wheels that I like, except I'd like to buy some that don't have the silver center. Below is a site where I found the wheel that I'd like to buy, but it doesn't say 6x139.7mm and I only am interested in buying wheels that I won't have to return, or adjust anything once on my MS. www.4x4groupbuy.com/store/black-rock-series-997-type-8-steel-wheel-15x8-6x55-375bs-p-10501.html

I've thought about that before but I want the backspacing that these other rims provide, and I like the look better...and for $48 per wheel, you can't really beat that. I never off-road either so having a wheel like this should work fine, assuming I can find one that fits.

I've got crager soft eights on my '03 MS. They were $55ish and look great. I believe they are a negative 13 offset so they poke about 1/2" (just perfect if you ask me). I bought them from discount tire direct and shipping was free.

Scott, is there any way you could post a pic of your MS. I almost need to see them on before buying.

I put black 78 series from American Wheel ordered from Summit catalog. They look and fit good. I put on 16x7, same size as stock.

No problem. I'll take a picture tomorrow morning and post it for you. I've been meaning to put some pictures up for a while and your request is the motivation that I've been looking for.

So based on what is given on the site that I first posted, the wheel has these specs:
15x8 6x5.5in (6x139.7mm) 108.7mm Center Bore (I called them to confirm this) 3.75in Backspacing
Seeing all of this, will I be able to just pop these on my MS without any problems?

only issue you may have is the size of the center cap, it may not go over the hub. Clay

Can I see if it will fit by calling them to see what the diamater of it is? .. or are there other measurements of it that I'd need to know as well?
Thanks.

I think they would, but I'm looking more for the Black Rock style which has the black center cap. Also, for $200 exactly, I can buy the Black Rock's brand new off 4x4parts. Thanks though.
