No Dome Light - Need to Install New One- Help?!

hey all - Bought a 2002 XLS about 2 months ago. It seems as if the previous owner had a flip down tv or somthing for the backseat because there is a upholstry patch about 10" by 10" on the headliner where the dome light used to be. There is no fixture at all. I bought a LED dome light and searched for wires to install it, but no luck. I took the overhead compartant thing off and there were just wires for the two map lights and time display.... where would the dome light wires be? any help or suggestions would be great... thanks!

The dome lamp connector harness comes from the left side of the roof. so if you pull down the headliner just above the rear door left side you should see it.
