Hey everyone, I have a 2001 MS sport limited 2wd with 25k miles. When I come to a complete stop, and release the brake VERY slowly, the engine seems to be lunging forward. If I press the brake all the way down it stops, it only happens when your foot is on the break lightly (and at a full stop). I took it two two different dealers who claim there is nothing wrong, but I've driven alot of cars and never had one that did this. Finally talked directly to a Mits technician, who claimed the motor mounts on the 3.5L are too small for the engine, anyone ever heard of this?? Cant seem to get it resolved, just keep getting the run around from the dealers. Either they know of the defect and dont want to pay the warranty or are just plain dumbfounded. Any help is appreciated!

While Mitsubishi did have problems with the 3.5l Motor mounts...the problem only existed (and was corrected) in the 99 Limited (the 1st year the 3.5L was offered in the MS).
