Hi All,
What kind of cable is used to connect the amp to the Infinity headunit? And also how long is it?
Thanks,

It's a DIN plug, a little black wire about 1/4" in diameter with a 6 pin din plug connected to the radio. there is another DIN wire right there too (18pin, looks like a CD changer or CAN/BUS din cable), but its for the alarm system (even if you don't have it).
it should be plugged right into the back of the Factory head unit. Although your radio power connector looks fully pinned out, the head unit only uses power, ACC, Ground, illumination and Antenna wiring from that, no speaker level wiring is actually there, just dead wires to the disconnects in the dash harness.... although you can remove the amp and reroute the two disconnects in the dash wiring and bypass the amp. (don't know why, the Gold series infinity amp is rather decent, and is line level input, unlike the Chrysler and Lexus infinity amps that are speaker level.)
The DIN cable goes from the right side of the console, all the way back to the amp in the right rear side panel (just behind the Vent/ speaker grill looking thing in front of the storage compartment. The Amp Turn on lead, ground and signal wires are in there. The amp gets supply power from a relay near the underdash fuse box, which routes across the front floor below the front seats and continues rearward with the DIN cable to the Amp. The Amplifier power wires are with the speaker harness, not the din cable.
If you're lucky, this is all still connected properly. Don't be surprised if some place like a Big Box store has cut and rerouted the speaker wires and hid the DIN cable in the carpet below the console... doing things "fast" for a customer usually means butchered wiring on infinity systems....which is sad.
Get any head unit with both Front and Rear line level full range outputs. The Infinity Gold Amp has a built in active crossover (that is not adjustable from outside the amp).
