Here is an easy one for you guys. How do the rear center caps mount onto the stock rims? The front ones just push in and are held by those metal spring "fingers" on the inside. On the rear mine have no such springs. Am I missing something or does it mount a different way? I just bought this truck two days ago. Thanks!
P.s. it's a 2000 Sport XLS 4x4.

The rear wheels should have those same exact 'fingers' in there. All they are is a metal ring that is compressed between the wheel and studs. They fall free once the wheel comes off. Sounds like they either just got broken off (I'm missing quite a few of the fingers due to rust and such) or the last owner just didn't care/or lost the part.

Ok thanks, that is what I figured. Mine are completely gone then. Anywhere to purchase these? I didn't see any at the junkyard.

Dealership would be the best place. I can't seem to even find an oem part number for it in any catalog or even the manual.

They were going to charge me $35 a piece. Mitsubishiparts.net has them for $12.50 each www.mitsubishiparts.net/cart/?pn=Mb624909

Ive been to two different dealerships that both matched for me. One matched with online price plus shipping, the other just flat out matched the price directly. That price match was on my oem belts ;D good deal

A little late, but the front clips are different than the rear clips. Front clips will work on the rear, but you have to push so hard on the caps on that you practically need a rubber hammer to seat them correctly. The clips are actually listed with different part numbers.
