I'm so happy with the new rear hitch, its practically hidden. As for the rear bumper guard, I also bought a lock for it , its $21 at O'Reilley Auto Store. But it will be necessary.
The Autopage auto start & remote entry is simply Amazing.

I also added new Kenwood stereo, and new Kenwood speakers to my Montero Sport. The sound is epic!
At first I was considering buying Toshiba , Sony, JVC to support Japanese products, but I went for the Kenwood because of sound quality.
I'm exceedingly happy of the quality. I endorse Kenwood.

Thank You! Yes, she's been a very good ride to me these past 11 years. I've never had any major problems with her, just the necessary maintenance, and the change of the timing belt and water pump, and brake replacements. Other than that, she's been an effective and extremely reliable ride! I have 162,000 miles on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS. She was with me when I was in high school, been with me throughout college (I went to school in northwestern PA), and now with me as I finish medical school. I've driven my Montero Sport everywhere and man I love these machines. I've compared the Toyota 4Runners, Nissan Pathfinders, AND Ford Explorers to my Mitsubishi Montero Sport and I will confidently say that I pick the Montero Sport over these any day. Don't worry, I'll post more pictures when I get her back. I've had my MS about half way though high school and its giving zero issues. I've had to due tons of maintenance to get her up to par when I got it ( $2200 later) but I got my MS for free so can't complain there! I'm a senior in High School now and after high school my college is a hour away, so I would be commuting back and forth everyday and I have compleat confidence in my montero sport that she would do just fine Hey, That's good to hear that you have invested some works on your Montero Sport. I'm sure she will take care of you as you commute to college and back. I would just like to remind you to do your regular maintenance and she will last. Do take more pictures of your MS, I'd like to see more ! Thanks buddy! Best, Renzo

Nicely done. Its good to see some of us are still taking care of the MS eventhough its discontinued here. I love the machismo of these cars. To this day I still find myself staring at it....
BTW off topic Renzo, are you THE Takeshi Kaneshiro or just a fan?

hey man! thanks for appreciation! Yup, just trying to keep my ride good looking. in the long run its more economical for me to just maintain her rather than buying a new suv. i am a very very big fan of kaneshiro-kun. hehehe! plus, i look very similar to him.

i am a very very big fan of kaneshiro-kun. hehehe! plus, i look very similar to him. My wife is in love with that guy. We watch a lot of foreign films then my wife got me watching his movies and I was impressed. His best role was the detective in Dragon with Donnie Yen. If anyone here likes martial arts movies, they should watch Dragon. Its not your typical, "Ima whoop you" action flick. I believe its on netflix.

O man, if you like his films, then I also suggest you watch "House of Flying Daggers", which is a very good movie. Its actually one of his best films. Another one is "Chungking Express". If you're into funny/ romance films, then you'll like Chungking Express. The theme is the supremacy of love...hehe.
