The hood is going to be repainted, getting the rust removed, which is located on the right quadrant.
My good friend who is a mechanic is doing all the installation/ body work. Hopefully this should be done by Sunday.
I'll post pictures afterwards.

That's a very nice Sport you got there! It's almost exactly like mine. I was thinking about a grill guard for mine as well. How many miles do you have on it? Good luck man and be sure to post those after pics!

Good luck man and be sure to post those after pics! Thank You! Yes, she's been a very good ride to me these past 11 years. I've never had any major problems with her, just the necessary maintenance, and the change of the timing belt and water pump, and brake replacements. Other than that, she's been an effective and extremely reliable ride! I have 162,000 miles on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS. She was with me when I was in high school, been with me throughout college (I went to school in northwestern PA), and now with me as I finish medical school. I've driven my Montero Sport everywhere and man I love these machines. I've compared the Toyota 4Runners, Nissan Pathfinders, AND Ford Explorers to my Mitsubishi Montero Sport and I will confidently say that I pick the Montero Sport over these any day. Don't worry, I'll post more pictures when I get her back.

There is a proverbial saying in Japanese, "Tatakai no ato, anata no ken o seisÅ shite kudasai." This means, "After battle, a samurai will clean his katana." This means to say that as a sword is an investment for a warrior, so, too, is a working man's automobile. The Mitsubishi Montero Sport will take care of you so long as we take care of it. It is a mutual relationship. I get a beautiful zen feeling when I clean her , wash her, vacuum her, change her oil, do regular maintenance. These are beautiful machines. And worthy of being kept up-to-date.

I've had to due tons of maintenance to get her up to par when I got it ( $2200 later) but I got my MS for free so can't complain there! I'm a senior in High School now and after high school my college is a hour away, so I would be commuting back and forth everyday and I have compleat confidence in my montero sport that she would do just fine
