I'm trying to get some ideas on how to reduce/eliminate the noticeable coil spring sag of the rear end when I'm towing anything, or even loaded down a bit inside. I've looked at the Old Man Emu springs, but that only seems to be an option if I'm going to lift the truck, which I'm not, I want to stay at the stock height.
Is there a beefier replacement spring option (stock height)? Are the Air bags for springs a viable option? Do the inexpensive coil spring helpers really provide any help at all?
Thanks

IIRC one person on this forum had his Old Man Emu springs cut down a few coils to match Factory height. However I am pretty sure you can raise the front to match by adjusting the Torsion Bars. I have read a few discussions about the air bags. I think they would work fine from time to time. With out a load they might make it too stiff of a ride. I have no experience with any of this just what I have read.

I did the Airlift modification. Rather than recreate the wheel, just scroll down a few posts or do a quick Google search and you will find all the information you will need. Good luck.

Put the Air Lift 1000's on my 2002 sport. Lasted a little over and year and coil rubbed a hole in one of the air chambers and pooof!!!, no more air springs. Others have no doubt had better luck.
