So I was looking through the photos on edmunds.com and was wondering what year or model had the White Face gauges? I would like to switch out mine and factory would be nicer than just throwing in some aftermarket kit.

think they started that in 02. always wanted to do the same but wasn't sure if the odometer was removable. would want to keep the one that is on there so the mileage reads right. also some of the lights are different or in different places. like on the 02 that had AWD, had an actual 4H 4L light that comes on in the middle of the cluster under the gear selector. earlier was just a green indicator light (looks like 4 wheels and a transfer case)on the bottom right whether it is 4H or 4L.

I don't know about mitsubishi but most odometer readings are kept in the PCM. When I worked at a Chrysler dealer we would replace gauges and have no problem with odometers.

The white gauges started in 02 on the LS models. The ES didn't get the white face gauges I believe the XLS and limited got the white gauges too. I'm actually curious if the mileage would correct it self if I were to put in white face gauges. I've been wanting to put those in

I sent an Email to Mitsubishi, but if someone goes to a dealer you could ask there. There are a ton of options for white face gauges. But I figure if I am going to install a set than I could just go with OEM.
