Damn thing cranks over very slowly, but ONLY after 12 hours of not being ran. Today, it barely turned over, I drove it 1/2 mile to the gym, and it turned over fine. I had the battery, alternator, and charging system checked at advance about a month ago, everything was fine. The battery is only a couple years old, but I do live in S fl., so it gets heated up pretty badly. ANyone ever had this issue? Im thinking the starter is going out, but Im not real excited about changing it and hoping to diagnose more before messing with it. Oh, I also have the leaky cam seals(Already bought the kit to replace the belt and whatnot..), is it possible there's oil getting into the starter and causing a low voltage situation? And do you think there's a possibility of the oil draining out of the bottom end bearings and causing friction after sitting? Im noticing some shiny particles when changing the oil. Nothing too bad, the thing has 180k on it, so I won't be too critical of it.

It could possibly be the battery. These trucks are tough on batteries. There is a tester made by solar that does a more thorough job.
