I have a 2000 MSport LS AWD. There is a hose behind the the intake leading off the bottom line from the firewall just hanging loose. It's right around the area where the driver side cam seal is located and I'm fairly sure it's part of the freewheel clutch system for the 4x4. Diagrams seem to show the hose but not where it goes to from the solenoid. Please help.

I have pictures just not sure how to post. Basic newb fail. Anyway if your looking behind the intake it appears there are several brake lines (5 or so running across). However the bottom one is NOT a brake line, and changes from hardline to a 1 foot rubber hose that's just hanging loose around the transmission dipstick area.

Can you trace the hard line back and see what that goes into? There are a dozen lines - rubber and metal on that side. Hard to tell which one you're looking at. Edward
