Does that mount to the frame like a hatch does? And if so can it be used in conjunction with a hatch? Or does it attach to the bumper mounts? I am trying to figure out the best way to mount a tow hit=ch in it and make it look good, with my 2 inch body lift, it will hang down 2 inches lower then it should. If I wasn't so far away id be interested in one of the custom bumpers ES has been working on. As is Iv'e called and visited a few local body shops etc looking to see if anyone would be interested in creating me a rear bumper with tire carrier, and tow hitch integrated. None would even create a plain metal bumper for me with no additional hooks, hitch, or carrier. I may have to invest in some welding equipment and start to learn to weld myself if I ever want any off road armor.

It attaches the same way a hitch does. I had it attached with the hitch. But yes you could make some way to raise it! 😊

ugh... if only I had the cash... this would be perfect with my junkyard score... would it fit with the tire carrier, or would there be a fitment issue? Need to get Sport running so I can talk wife into it!

Any idea what shipping would be to 30228? She will need to know that...
.... update...
Talked to her... she did not say no, but she did not say yes... lol. Please let me know shipping & I can get a firmer answer. Yesterday I think she said next paycheck would not be so tight. Not this Friday, but next... alot will depend if i can get the sport running right. Yipes!

Ups ground. It's the odd size causing the price.

hmmm... was looking on ebay to see if I could find a seller and ask who they ship with. FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery is what one uses... maybe they have a better rate? Cause if I can get the shipping down, I think the wife might let me get it at next paycheck.
Cause the basic bar ones new run about $150.00 to 170.00.. you know they are making more than 50-70 bucks or the product would not be worth it. So there has to be cheaper shipping option.

Looking at FedEx ground & home Delivery rate chart pdf... www.fedex.com/ratetools/RateToolsMain.doUsed the drop down in the "Get Rates by FedEx Service" and selected ground one time and home delivery the next.. $109 shipping is at the max of their charts for something weighing 150lbs and going over 1800 miles... surely this thing does not weight that much? The front brush guard has more metal and I could carry that way too easy to be near the 150lb mark. I'm estimating not over 50Lbs... if the rate chart is correct that puts it max $50.00... only thing I can find about size is this (below), but I don't think its large enough to quality for the class 3 size $50.00 fee... www.fedex.com/us/developer/WebHelp/fsms/1401/dvg/DVG-WebHelp/5_4_1_Package_Size_and_Weight_Rules_for_FedEx_Ground_and_FedEx_Home_Delivery_U_S.htmmight ask my operations mail folks for help here at the office to figure out how to get a price... but what's your zip and what does this thing weigh?
