need some help with the timing belt, can someone tell me what degree the cam has to be set to, or any pointers u guys can give, so i dont break my engine. thanks

No disrepect intended but the fact you have to ask this question leads me to believe that this job might be better off being done by someone with more experience.

a mechanic is actually doing it, but dont have a manual guide to work with. and it take 3to4 weeks before i can get one from the dealer. so if you(joel) have a copy or some tips u can give me, i would really appreciate. thanks

Well okay.. so to answer your question about cam/crank timing. After removing all of the neccesary components to access the belt- rotate the crank to TDC. If you look at each cam gear, there's a mark on the sprocket that lines up with an arrow on the back side of the Tbelt cover. The crank will have a mark on the crank sensor blade that corresponds with a line on the oil pump case. Be sure it's all lined up when the job is done.
