2002 sport, I have to get a new engine. Is it worth the effort to swap my 3.0 for a 3.5?

My engine died. I need a new one. I've looked at a lot of on-line distributors and most of them have lousy ratings. Lousy warranty response etc. Suggestions are very helpful. The engine can't be rebuilt...
