Also take a look under your hood. There's a badge that tells you what your gear ratio is. If you are planning on going with larger 33+ size tires I'd recommend 4.9 gears. I know there's a lot of info n gear ratios on the site. But think factory they came in 4.2, 4.6, and 4.9s. If my memory serves me correctly. Just something to think about for a later date if you decide to you ever want to go that route. I assume its this badge. It looks like I have the 4.90 ratio. I guess I am lucky haha.

That's the tag, and unless someone changed it on you then you're golden.

On the air locker, see if you can scour junk yards. My 99 Limited has a factory air locker. Might be cheaper than ARB. Oh...and my avatar, the truck has 265/70/16 on factory Toyota Tundra wheels

Oh...and my avatar, the truck has 265/70/16 on factory Toyota Tundra wheels That's a good idea, I would imagine that the factory locker is electronic? I was going to get the front and rear ARB lockers, get a 2" lift, and then call it good for a while. I ended up throwing some falken wildpeak AT3w 275/70/16 on there. They don't rub or anything.

Nope! It's an air locker. My compressor is under the truck, on the passenger side. Even with just the rear air locker, I can (and have) done things bigger and more capable Jeeps have done. Very impressive to say the least! 2" lift would help with much more technical terrain
