Does anyone make a front winch bumper or winch bull bar for a 2002 sport? I cant seem to find anyone that makes one?

I just put one on my 2002. you have to use the 99 arb one. you have to drill a different hole for the top bolts and get some turn signal lights from ebay for a 99 and trim the grill i have a pic but cant upload for some reason

Pretty sure you are also supposed to beef up the frame where you mount the bumper, in addition to drilling the holes, it's a heavy bumper.

Pretty sure its not as bad as most think. Actually you have to do Four welds to the frame where the bumper rests on. Which are simple to do. The hardest part is getting the up rights to fit around the head lights. one tip is getting the lights and bumper to both line up Some minor grinding will be needed. The rest is pretty much straight forward fabricating. Drilling a new hole and cutting the grill to fit in places on the bumper. This is a 97/98/99 model bumper going on a 2001. y As far as it being heavy I could pick it up by myself. Adding a winch will make it heavy for sure. New torsion bars are recommended I went with OME torsion bars and new shocks. For installing you will need at least three people. Two to hold one underneath to mark and mock up etc. The rest is basic wiring for the indicators which come off a earlier model. This can be done in a three days. That's including wiring the indicators touching up paint indicator installation etc.

Pretty sure its not as bad as most think. .... No, its worse. The welds on the plates at the end of the frame rails are not enough for winching. Eventually, just the normal wear and tear of the bumper and winch on the end of those rails will break one of those welds. The latter will probably take years (and years), but if you actually use the bumper for is intended purpose, it will take maybe half a dozen hard pulls. When the welds let go, the bumper will swing straight down - pivoting on the lower through bolts - tearing the crap out of the entire front end, and it will continue to pivot until the bumper swings into the front tires. I don't even want to imagine what that would do on the highway. I caught mine coming loose at the trail head while airing back up. It still bent the crap out of my fenders. I was lucky. One guy's came loose while doing a pull. The fix isn't rocket surgery. The end plates need to be tied into the frame and welded - or welded better than they are, I should say. Edward
