Good afternoon everybody(at least where I am), wondering if I can get some advice from you guys who are more experienced with the montero sport. I have a 1997 montero sport 3.0LS with 230k miles on the odometer, while the engine is brand new with a little over 1k miles. The transmission is rebuilt.(If you want any more info please let me know.) The truck is currently having a misfire on cylinder 5(p0305) I have been having this problem for almost a year, gonna change the spark plug wires cuz my mechanic recommended it. Would appreciate any advice from you guys, thank you.
P.S: If you guys wanna know the full story on how I got this truck and problems I went through please let me know, I’ll make another thread for it cause it’ll be LONG.

Plug, plug wire, coil or Ignition Control Module. The coil is easy enough to swap. The ICM is relatively easy. It's just not cheap. And one has to be careful of the wiring harness connectors.
Let's have the story.
