So I am getting ready to change my plugs on my '95 Montero LS with 155k miles on it. Should I change the valve cover gaskets when I am in there as a preventive measure? I do not have a leak, but there is a bit of oil residue with some dirt clinging to it in some locations around the valve cover. Is it worth the hassle? On the other hand it is a hassle pulling the intake plenum etc. so it is not that hard to change the valve cover gasket when I am in there. Hmmmm.
