i was trying to purchase a set of rims from centerline called sniper and i was told by the sales man that the rims will fit but the centercap won't, so i search the MS gallery and saw a 2002 MS with the same rims and the centercaps on. my question to jay is does the 2000 MS and 2002 MS have different wheelbase or wheels offset?

i'm not jay, but i bet i can answer just as well. have alot of info about our truck and those wheels specifically.
your gunna have the same prob i had...heres what you do. 1) on the front rotors, take off the stock wheels, and find yourself a dremmel (sp) with a sanding wheel...there a little nubs the stick out on the rotor, not allowing the center cap to fit onto the rotor/hub...this will take a bit, but take your time and do it enough to where it allows the center cap to slide over the hub and sit flush on the rotor. (if not even, can cause the wheel to get off center and shake...possibly make the wheel snap off the lugs) pop you center cap through the rim (this is the rim made for totyota's since they have a huge hub as well...this is important...you need a rim with a larger hub cut-out...hub centric is the key) then slide the wheel on and yur set...now with the back...
2)you have to do a little "do-it-yurself" as well...the wheel fits fine, but the cap will not work...put the wheel on and take yur two caps, and shave down the lip that allows the cap to be pushed through and stick...its a little less then a 1/4 inch off the entire end of the cap...this lets you slide the cap in through the FRONT, and simply run a THICK bead of extra strength silicone and allow to dry for 24 hrs...you'll have no prob with is falling off at high speeds or huge potholes...you need to do this evertime you rotate or balance... but no biggie...sounds like a bit of work, but simple, and fun if u enjoy custom work...do it...its worth it...make sure the hub is big on the rim..and if u get those wheel...get 285-50-20 tires...bigger is better...don't roll on rubberbands...you'll regret it... let me know adam
