First question is are there any clear turn signals for the bottom front bumper that would fit a 97 MS since they don't make em for the MS. I know I used CRX clears on my Probe at one time. Second Question. I have a heat gun and was wondering if the orange refelctors from ALL 4 turn signals will come off? Third Question. Once the orange reflectors are out do the signals still have that rough bumpy look or are they basically like seeing through normal plastic?

Gooday from Australia. I think we are talking about the same thing. See the post below: msport97.proboards6.com/index.cgi?board=street&action=display&n=1&thread=5430Cheers, Dave First question is are there any clear turn signals for the bottom front bumper that would fit a 97 MS since they don't make em for the MS. I think he's more talking about the turn signals on the bumper itself- not the ones near the headlights.

Oops. You are totally correct. Will investigate anyway - you never know!

Yea I am talking about about the bottom turn signals. I took one out and noticed its all orange. no reflector built in. It looks like something else may be able to fit in there. Perhaps Accord clears would fit. I am going to pursue it more.
I am also talking about the top side markers too though. Does the orange reflector come out of a 97 MS?

So did you ever figure out if any other lights would fit in the bumper?

I taught about doing this (using Honda's part) but I gave up on it because I didn't have time. Maybe someone can help me if they own a Honda or Toyota. I know that the 98-up Honda Prelude won't fit even they have the same lens dimensions than 97-99 MS.
here is a list of car that might fit: 92-95 4Runner 90-91 Accord 90-91 Integra (2 screw holes) 92-93 Integra 88-89 CRX (2 screw holes) 90-91 Civic (2 screw holes)

From the list above, which car will fit the MS 97-98 bumper turn lights?
I am thinking of doing a DIY on the headlight corners but I want to make sure I get a matching set of clear bumper turn light lens.

You can't do the procedure for "DIY clear corners" on the 97-99 Montero Sports as the ENTIRE OUTER lends is colored in amber. The DIY was intended for the 2K and newer sports with has a clear outer lens, fitted with an amber internal lens/reflector (which can be removed to make instant clear corners).

Thanks for pointing that out! What a frustration that would have been after disassembling everything only to find out it can't be done.
So where can I we get clear corner headlights and clear bumper lenses locally?

The clear corners next to the headlamps are NOT available in the USA. They seem to come standard for the Montero Sport models in other countries and can be purchase if u have someone overseas to hook u up. I have a friend in Australia that can do it for me but it still costs a pretty penny. I've been holding off for over a year on purchasing a set.

For my ride I used the 90-91 Integra clear bumper lights. They look great. Of course it won't fit absolutely perfect but they look great. I got them yesterday and I am very happy with the results. If you have the front bumper kit you can use for it the CRX ones.

Danex,
Bought and installed the lens you suggested. You are right, it does look great. Now if you can, please share us some info on how you managed to smoke out your park lights.
