cops don't want you to have tint on the front windows. They say if they can't see inside then it's too dark. Sun roofs help lighten the inside, during the day. But at night, it's lights out.

i always roll down my windows whenever i see cops. it sucks now cause it's cold outside. it really sucked a couple days ago when i was coming home from umcp. i must have passed 5 cops in a row at each intersection on the same road checking for drunk drivers. i kept rolling my windows up and down.

lol i got enough to wory about with mine other than the windows, i havent had a plate lite 4 like a year now. not to mention the exhaust, tailights, and all the lighting while i drive. but im lucky most cops out here dont even look at suvs here they are looking for the import kids! Oz

i will have to say that one of the few good things about alabama is that there arent inspection rules which means you can tint your windows as dark as you want and its really not a big deal. i have double limo tint (lets 2 1/2% of light through) on mine all the way around, and i have never been stopped or questioned about mine. i love people not being able to see inside my ride. you cant see in mine during the day and you cant see out at night. a little dangerous i know but i love it!
