I was wanting to change out the brakes with a slotted or drilled heavy duty rotor and ceramic pads because I have a hell of a time stopping this thing with 22's just adding to the problem. Two questions arise:
A) Should I get slotted or drilled?
B) The only kit I found not on ebay was a 2 rotor, caliper, and pad set for $1,000. Ebay has slotted rotors only for $200 a pair. Is there any other options anyone has found?

check porterfield racing. they have slotted (best) and crossdrilling avail along with cryo treating. r4s pads r 120 front and 80 each rear. rotors are 89 front and 95 each rear. slotting is 40, drilling is 29 and cryo is 25 each. clay

check out these guys. www.designrt.net/rotor.htmThere is no MS listed but i emailed him and he quoted me $160 for all four rotors plus $40 to ship. There is some talk these days that cross drilling is not the way to go. But it depends on how precise the drilling is, if they are drilling through the viens, then yes, cross drilled will be a bad choice. if they do it right, no problem. and then there are new "dimpled" rotors that are just dimples and not holes, avoiding the whole hole mess. i'd get a combo, what the hell. i will get a set of these after the new year.

Check out powerslot.com/ I here they're pretty good. Especially when used with Hawk pads.
