greetings I'm new to the site. And someone may have asked this questions before on an earlier Forum.
Does any body know what size speakers i have in every location inside my 2000 montero sport ES.
I heard on all the doors they are 6.5 rounds and under the dashboard on both driver and passanger side they are 3.5 rounds.
Is that true?
Also is it easy to install new speakers in their locations by myself.

6.5s all around... i believe only the infiniti systems have the 3.5, so you dont have to worry about that. but i may be wrong.

Thanks for the info.
Question? Are the speakers hard to install? Or is it simple just a few screws here and there.

i installed some pioneer 6.5's in the rear doora and those were a breeze....you just have to unscrew the door panels located in various places around the outside border also you have to unscrew the bolt on the inside door handle and also the door knob.. after that, the panel comes off with a little prying exposing the speaker, from there it should be pretty easy....i suggesst cutting the harness off the wires because when i tried pulling a good chunk of thumb went with it... as for the fronts..i would imagine the same steps for the front...except the driver side, it might be a little more complicated with the mirror control and the extra power window switches.... good luck!

6.75 front and back. 6.5's will work.
