I am planning on towing a tent trailer with my 97 MSP LS. Anyway, the dealer says I need a special 'wiring harness' so that the no splice and dice happens and destroys some of the online computers.
The problem is that the harness does not include universal connecters (7 plug) and looks like you have to jerry rig it to work the electric brake system.
So they want $90 for the harness, about 100 to install, and even then I'll have to take it somewhere else to have the electric brake system installed. Wouldn't I be better to have it all done at once? Are there other options out there?
Thanks for your helpljavascript:cheesy()

I remember reading about the factory wiring harness, dealer installed, on the Sport Board: www.montero-sport.com/board/...but don't remember any details. Try the Search function. Also, head back to Jay's Home page...there might be something there, too. Cheers, Stod
