Ok.. Gorman, jeep miller trail. we just finished the run. Six montys showed up!!! ;D
1 97sport 33" locked -DC 2 95+sr's 32" locked- Kirk, cap510 1 gen-I SWB 33" locked-jason 1 gen-I SWB 31" lsd-john 1 gen-I LWB 33" locked.-offroader
All very capable rigs.. All had some sort of rocker panel protection except the SR's. 1 had 1/2(driverside only). No body damage!!! Just minor scratches and stuff. I do have to report one broken trailing arm on the swb with 31"s. It was still drivable home..
The trail was difficult. the first leg was alot better then it has been. No problems getting everybody up.. ( there was a lifted expidition that took a couple of tries at it then gave up before he wecked it right before us). The later parts of the trail got a little harder though.. I guess to make up for the gate keeper.
great views, great wheeling. though out the trail. At the OHV area, we all got to test out our rigs. there was a little rock garden that we all made it through. Then there was the big one. offroader didn't think we could make it through.offroader's words"It's exactly like the rubicon" So I had to go first to pave the way for him. It was Very slow and filed with large rocks. After I ran it with lots of spoting, offraoder hit it up.. He had a little more trouble then me because he sits about 2"s lower then me but with a little rock moving we got him through. the other sr's were not eq yet for the larger rock garden.
offroader is going to do a full write up on this with pics and all.. Sooo stay tuned..
