I have recently purchased a MP3 player that installs in the car. It connects to the radio through RF inputs. I have the factory Infinity Radio System (With CD Changer Adaptor) How can i connect this player to the radio? If a purchase a RF Modulator what would I connect that too? Buying a New radio is kinda out of the question since im broke now. 2004 Montero Sport XLS Thanks Chris

Get the RF mod... you can be portable then to any vehicle you might ride in... even rentals!

If you buy a RF mod you just hook it up threw the antenna then to the Head unit, in to the antenna connection. Then tune the radio to the right frequency and it will play on the radio. www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&PartNumber=205-220&DID=7You can also buy a wireless mod and there will be no need to run any wires to the antenna.

Another option is to contact SPS or USAspec both companys have many availabe adapters that can directly connect to your factory radio. This will give you much better sound quality. If not go with a wired fm modulater like the audiovox FMM100A.

I have an in-dash mp3 player also, the OmniFi DMP1. I really wasnt satisfied with the sound I got with the Audiovox wired FM modulator. I wish there was something that went to the CD Changer input, but I couldnt find anything that worked with the factory Infinity system.
Like you I didnt want to buy another unit, but I ended up replacing the head unit with one that had AUX inputs and I'm VERY happy with the results. HUGE difference in the quality of sound imo.
