I have been throwing around some i deas of what to do with the exhaust on the sport and was wondering if u have seen many mitsus in general with aftermarket exhaust put on that are having trouble with their O2 sensers tripping a check engine code. I was thinking of changing their location. Someone in auzzy land said it could be done but most people I talk to (self included) have a feeling it may not be a good idea . What do u think? Clay

To be honest, most O2 sensor codes i've noticed on the MS was due to engine oil contamination. Those damn cam O ring seals on the drivers side is sure to leak oil right down the O2 sensor harnes and foul out it's fresh air source. There's really no where to reposition these sensors but immediately before and immediately after the precats.

Well my ? stems from the headers thing we had going. To do those I would have to relocate them before and after the main cat. Clay
