If I were a rich man! Just came home a few days ago from a weekend camping trip. Had to go up through Eisenhower Tunnel... twice. Folks from Colorado know it. Once going up, once going down. Man, I tell you! The 3.0 needs more power! Went through an ***-load of fuel! Good thing Silverthorne's just over the "hump" for a refuel! The engine was at 4000 rpm's or more for most of the climb. And yes, the tunnel is at the top of a pass. Uphill which ever way you come. 5000+ rpm's when the engine started losing power on the steep climbs and down shifted! I wish I had the money to throw at this truck and engineer a supercharger system for it. Anyway, that's my rant for today. By the way, had an awesome time! Got the truck sideways a couple of times when I was FLAT FLOGGING it over some gravelly dirt roads. Who says you can't drift in an SUV?!! The MS gets surprisingly light when traction gets lose and speeds increase!

yes the 3.8 has some pull but it is also pulling less. If I had the money I would bore the 3.5 out to 4.0 like the dakar rally truck. Clay
