nope, it doesn't sound like a fart can. i got a flowmaster 40 series muffler installed with 2.25" piping. it's pretty quiet at idle, but once you go from 1000-3000 rpm you can hear a grumble. i haven't really notice an increase in terms of performance, but i haven't really pushed it yet. it does seem like i need to bring the rpms up to 3000 if i want power. seems like i lost some power between 2000-3000 rpm.

Sweet dude, Well i went to a buddy of mines today that owns a local muffler shop and he would charge me $50 for a flow and installation. The flow has been used for about 3 months and there isn't anything wrong with it....the previous owner didn't want his truck that loud. He said it's either a 40 or 50 series. Hey BW do you happen to have any sound clips of your exhaust? That would make the determining factor if I'm going to get it or not.

i will try tomorrow if i have time, but i'm not sure if my pda voice recorder still works. i know the video camera is broken on my sony nx-80v. such a shame, cause it was arguably the best pda sony ever made.
man, only $50? that really sounds like a deal! i just spent $375 on a full custom cat back system (minus the $50 magnaflow tip i had to supply). eh, w/e it's done and over with. $250 of that was basically free money i got selling a computer i pretty much got for free.
