Joel,
Long time buddy. Glad to see you're still around after the MonteroSport Garage days. My question is.....is it possible to put a supercharger on a 2000 MS? Do I need one? Nah Do I want one? Sure I got more money than sense! :-)

It is possible and I think our engines are more than strong enough to hand probably as much as 7psi of boost.
The driveline is more than up to the challenge.
The question is finding one. There are a few kits out there. I researched it and they have them in Australia and Africa. It would have cost me about $6,000 including getting it over here to the states.
Not worth it for the amount of gain and for how long I'd be keeping the Montero Sport.

Ok I pretty much found the answer is yes if I want to spend at least 6,000 aussie and I may not pass emissions. I'd just be happy with positrac on the read-end at this point.
