Found this website from a Street Truckin' magazine I think. Looks like a really cool option for someone who has the money to spend on their ride. While they don't make a "kit" for the MS, it could still be an a option. Take your time and really look over their site, especially the FAQ section. Man, they totally blew away everything I THOUGHT I knew about turbo systems. Anyway, here's the address: ststurbo.com/ . It's like I always said, "Superchargers suck!!" ;D

Also Check out www.stealth316.com/2-3s-compflowmaps.htmpretty good stuff on what's important on turbo sizing, and BONUS - its on the 3.0 engine twin turbo in the Mitsu 3000/Dodge Stealth. $4000?? the STS guys sound like they think they invented the turbo... not sure what they have a patent on. At least one famous WWII airplane had 2800 cubes up front and the turbo plumbed back into the tail. I did like the idea of running a snorkel/air filter from inside one of the rear quarter panels instead of breathing air from under the rear axle... still...$4000

Yeah, $4000+ for a turbo set up is steep, considering the fact that the system doesn't use an intercooler, which aren't cheap. Still, I thought I would post it for all to take in. It does seem like a really cool option considering the tight confines of the MS's engine bay.

Looks like the turbos are available for around $1000, you "just" have to know what set up you need and figure out mounts and plumbing. STS was mumbling something about the long pipe run between the turbo and engine intake providing about 1/2 the gain (recovery) of the typical intercooler... Wouldn't know where to squeeze in an intercooler anyway, unless you hang it off the back of the truck somewhere, or maybe cool side scoops like Ferrari does... come to think of it, didn't I see some Pajero race pics somewhere with roof scoops just above the rear hatch hingeline?? Looked like they went through a lot of trouble to run engine oil back to the turbo... wonder if you couldn't run an electric pump and a small seperate oil system for just the turbo. That way, you could go with one side scoop for the intercooler, and the other side would have the oil cooler.... my truck is red anyway... wonder how much just the prancing horse badge costs.

I'm having turbo delusions again, can anyone verify the following for the 6g72 engine:
8.9:1 compression for the 3.0 SOHC as in the montero 10.0:1 compression for the 3.0 DOHC as in the 3000gt 8.0:1 compression for the 3.0 DOHC as in the 3000gt vr4 turbo
B210H injector 3.0 SOHC as in the montero BDH210 injector 3.0 DOHC as in the 3000gt BDL360 injector 3.0 DOHC as in the 3000gt vr4 turbo
Info on the pph or cc flow would be awesome. I have a guess that the numerals may be cc's, but not sure. I caught a post that someone had successfull swapped the bigger injectors into a minivan (Chrysler version 6g72) also lots of talk on the fuel pressure regulator from RPW.
I bet the stock montero cam may be pretty close to the turbo as well. Seems like its begging for boost.
